The Ministry of Justice is hiring a Cyber Security Posture Lead (G7) to stand up and lead the Proactive Cyber Security Team within the SOC. You will drive the development and continuous improvement of the MOJ's cyber security posture across a large enterprise estate, focusing on reducing risk through data‑driven methods and strong security controls.

The role requires active SC clearance, extensive experience in posture management, and the ability to report to senior management.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Extensive experience in cyber security posture management and security controls assurance.
• Strong understanding of security baselines, frameworks and secure configuration across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Experience measuring and improving security posture with data‑driven approaches.
• Experience producing meaningful management information and executive‑level reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and continuous improvement of MOJ's cyber security posture.
• Stand up the Proactive Cyber Security Team within the SOC.
• Reduce material cyber risk across MoJ's critical systems using risk‑based prioritisation.
• Improve visibility, ownership and accountability for cyber risk at system, portfolio and enterprise levels.
