Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking an SC Cleared Head of Proactive Cyber Security (G6) for a 12-month contract. The role sits in the newly formed Proactive Cyber Security Team within the SOC, reporting to senior leadership in Tech Services. Hybrid working from UK MOJ offices.

You will define strategy, operating models and governance to reduce cyber risk across a large enterprise, leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with internal and third-party partners. Active SC clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Proven leadership of proactive cyber security in large enterprises.
• Strong vulnerability and threat-management experience.
• Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS, M365).
• Excellent stakeholder communication at Director/Executive level.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier delivery.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and threat hunting practices.
• Hybrid work from UK MOJ offices.
