We are seeking motivated and curious interns to join our Digital Security team for a focused internship in cybersecurity. This program provides exposure to multiple domains of information security, real-world security challenges, and collaboration with experienced professionals across Devon. Interns will learn and apply Digital Security principles and workplace practices through a combination of team and individual project assignments - analyzing problems, gathering requirements, and helping determine and implement solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Digital Security team members and business stakeholders to understand security requirements, risks, and objectives.
  • Analyze security problems, gather requirements, and help determine and implement solutions.
  • Support Information Assurance activities - assessing controls, policies, and compliance.
  • Assist with Incident Response - monitoring, triage, investigation, and documentation of security events.
  • Contribute to Risk Management - identifying, assessing, and helping track and remediate risks.
  • Support Cloud Security efforts across Devon's cloud environments.
  • Assist with Threat Intelligence - researching threats, indicators, and emerging attack trends.
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional projects to gain exposure to security operations and technology strategies.
  • Learn and apply best practices in security operations, data protection, and governance.
  • Stay current with emerging security technologies and threat trends through active learning and professional development

Education
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Requirements

Full-time student enrollment.

Pursuing a degree in information security, information technology, management information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.

GPA 3.0 or higher.
