Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a Cyber Security/Information Assurance faculty member to teach CSIA courses and support program development. You will prepare syllabi, assessments, and course materials, while advising students and assisting with enrollment during peak registration periods.

Eligible candidates will hold a Master’s degree in IT or a related field, plus required certifications such as Security+ or Cisco/CyberOps credentials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or a regionally accredited equivalent with relevant information assurance courses.
• Certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher, or two years of documented server administration experience.
• Transcripts required at interview and time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes with clear objectives and maintain course materials.
• Advise students and assist during registration periods and posted office hours.
• Develop curricula, syllabi, tests and assessments aligned with program standards.
• Maintain records, attendance, grades and program management duties as assigned.
• Participate in community and campus activities and recruitment efforts.
