Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Deeth, NV is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the IS DEV team and deliver security solutions across the detect, protect, and respond lifecycle.

Requires a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or MIS with 2+ years in security; hands-on MDR/XDR, SIEM/UEBA, cloud security, email security, and GRC experience are essential. Onsite work five days per week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, MIS, or related field with 2 years in network/security roles.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISSP Associate, GSEC or equivalent.
• Hands-on MDR/XDR, SIEM/UEBA, cloud security, email security, and GRC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates security solutions to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from threats.
• Assists with security design, consultation, and technology implementations.
