Job summary

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is seeking an Engineer – Cyber Security to design, implement, and support the company’s information security infrastructure across enterprise environments. The role requires configuring security devices, monitoring tools, and collaborating with IT and business teams to resolve security issues.

The engineer will lead security exercises, maintain documentation and procedures, and stay current on threats and TTPs while supporting 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical discipline.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license as required by law or policy.
• Experience in at least 4 of the listed areas including SIEM, Azure, system and network administration, capacity planning, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot cyber security devices, tools, and solutions including Azure and Microsoft security products across the enterprise environment.
• Monitor health and performance of cyber security tools; tune configurations to optimize detection fidelity and protect assets.
• Lead and participate in triage, containment, investigation, and documentation of security events and incidents.
• Design and participate in cyber security exercises, including tabletop scenarios and red/blue team drills.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, SOPs, and protocols.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to investigate and resolve cyber security issues.
• Manage ticketing workflows, change management, and CAB participation.
• Develop security metrics and dashboards; present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
