Regions Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support cloud, infrastructure, and platform security. You will design and maintain security solutions, perform admin and troubleshooting tasks, and contribute to risk management and governance within Regions’ Cyber Security organization.

The role emphasizes staying current with industry trends, collaborating with project teams, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus related post-secondary education/experience in Information Security or IT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CCNA, MCSA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and supports cyber security technology solutions.
• Troubleshooting and day-to-day support for relevant applications.
• Review and contribute to operational documentation and monthly trend reports.
• Assist with evaluation, PoC, and build vs buy analyses for security solutions.
• Explore new technologies to improve security and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation for security technologies.
• Support governance and risk management activities in cyber security.
