Job summary

Defibtech is seeking a Cyber Security Co-op to support cybersecurity applications and respond to cyber events. The role includes assisting and training users of the company's enterprise system and is based onsite at our Guilford, CT headquarters with occasional travel to Branford and North Branford.

Responsibilities include monitoring ESET protection events, updating ThreatLocker policies, and ensuring compliance with FDA and quality system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three years of related experience in business enterprise systems.
• Experience with Epicor is desired but not required.
• Competence in Microsoft .NET programming.
• Ability to design and develop relational database queries and reports.
• Experience developing software for controlled manufacturing environments.
• Experience with medical device software and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Strong documentation skills including requirements, design specs, test protocols, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supports the maintenance of cybersecurity applications and alerts.
• Maintains and monitors ESET Endpoint protection events and alerts.
• Maintains and monitors ThreatLocker policies and exclusions.
• Designs and maintains Proofpoint and Azure email spam protection policies.
• Maintains firewall logs, applies updates, and analyzes vulnerability notices.
• Supports other business system projects as assigned.
• Promotes Defibtech values and continuous improvement.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
