As part of our Zscaler team, you will play a crucial role in enabling clients to understand and manage their Enterprise Identity environments, evaluating, enhancing, and creating innovative solutions tailored to their Zero Trust needs.

The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes collaborating with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies. We partner with third-party vendors to provide comprehensive services, including strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of network environments.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement and maintain security policies within the Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Provide training and guidance on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions like ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls in network environments.
• Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions.
• Experience with network security tools and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional cloud security certifications and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
