Southwest Airlines Co. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Technology risk team.

The role focuses on governance, policy management, regulatory alignment, audit readiness, and governance reporting across Cybersecurity, Technology, and business units to strengthen the organization’s security posture. Responsibilities include leading incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and GRC maturation, plus developing security training and promoting secure practices

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Incident response procedures and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced analytical skills across cybersecurity domains (GRC, Privacy, Vulnerability Management).
• Lead and participate in incident response efforts and mentoring junior analysts.
• Drive threat intelligence initiatives and vulnerability management improvements.
