Job summary

Altera is seeking an experienced Head of Resiliency to lead cybersecurity resiliency, operational risk management, and security initiatives across our IT organization in the San Jose area.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to assess and communicate security risks, drive resiliency initiatives, and build a proactive security culture while leading teams responsible for protecting critical infrastructure, systems, and information assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 9+ years of SOC or security services partner management.
• Experience with red or purple team findings.
• Experience reporting security risk to executives or a board.
• Experience in semiconductor or regulated industries.
• IPO experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH or CBCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across the network and infrastructure, implements software upgrades, performs maintenance and upkeep on computer hardware systems.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams implementing cyber security controls across the organization.
• Develop and enforce information security policies to protect information assets and IP.
• Develop information security policies and procedures, evaluate hardware/software and protection levels.
• Manage development, deployment and execution of controls to ensure security and risk mitigation.
• Support IT Operational Risk Management framework development and maintenance.
• Advise on development and management of new cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures.
• Maintain security tools, ensure compliance, reduce operational risk and oversee incident resolution.
• Provide SME on information security architecture to IT and business teams.
• Oversee upgrades and major changes to the information security environment.
• Set standards and deploy new programs with other managers.
