Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to lead the development and delivery of complex cyber training programs across virtual and in‑person environments. The role hands‑on with IaC and virtualization stacks, translating technical scenarios into actionable curriculum and validating hardware/software solutions.

This on‑site position is in Laurel, MD with 25% travel, requiring the ability to document SOPs and drive iterative improvements for training deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching technical curriculum in formal classroom settings.
• 1+ years of experience using Python and basic Linux/Bash functions.
• Familiarity with running Docker containers (Docker Compose).
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and OpenStack to create and manage virtual machines.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber operations, IT, or developer roles.
• Active Top Secret level clearance with eligibility for SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct virtual and/or in‑person training sessions.
• Operate and maintain a hybrid cyber range.
• Understand and emulate network scenarios with Infrastructure as Code.
• Test and validate software and hardware solutions before deployment.
• Document SOPs and iteratively improve processes.
