Job summary

IDS International in the United States is seeking a Cyber Virtualization Engineer to design and sustain advanced cyber training environments that emulate adversarial network conditions across IT/OT domains. The role requires hands-on work with hypervisors (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V), containers, IaC, and CI/CD, plus travel up to 25% to support exercises and deployments.

Candidates should have 5+ years of cyber engineering, network operations, or cyber range development, and hold a Top Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber engineering, network operations, or cyber range development.
• Security clearance (Top Secret) is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Engineer scalable virtualized environments using hypervisors, VMs, containers, and SDN across hybrid, edge, and cloud infrastructures.
• Develop automation and orchestration tooling for provisioning, snapshotting, and lifecycle management using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement observability pipelines for performance monitoring, traffic replay, and centralized logging in production-grade virtual infrastructures.
• Administer and secure hypervisor platforms and virtual networking components to ensure isolation and resiliency.
