Job summary

Tharros is seeking an Exploit Analyst to support the U.S. Navy with operational test and evaluation. You will build and oversee detailed plans executed by OPTEVFOR Red Team or other organizations supporting cyber OT&E events, and serve as a subject matter expert in cyberspace operations.

You will identify capability gaps, review cyber test requirements, and coordinate with DoD, academia, the private sector, and defense contractors to meet test objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related technical field OR minimum 5 years’ experience in DoD defensive or offensive cyberspace operations planning or exploitation analysis.
  • Proficiency in decomposing complex computer systems/network configurations in support of system exploitation analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (MS Visio, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to support briefing senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cyber survivability test plans following OPTEVFOR Cyber OT&E procedures and templates with minimal administrative errors.
  • Coordinate with warfare divisions and red team operators to ensure test objectives are comprehensive and executable, data collection requirements are defined, and cyber test capabilities are identified and resourced.
  • Attend test planning visits in support of cyber OT&E planning.
  • Lead execution of cyber OT&E related test events, coordinating with OTD, site personnel, program office SMEs, and supporting red teams.
