Job summary

Input Technology Solutions has an immediate opportunity to support the US Navy with operational test and evaluation. The Penetration Tester will develop cyber test plans, execute cyber tests, and report cyber test results.

Tests may be on operational systems, lab, or cyber range environments, using Windows, Linux, and cloud-based targets as appropriate. Responsibilities include planning, site visits, post-test documentation, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or exploitation development.
• Minimum 3 years leading red team operators to accomplish objectives.
• OSCP, OSCE, GX-PT, GXPM, PNPT, or HTB CPTS required.
• Proficient with offensive tools: Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Core Impact, Burp Suite, Nessus, BloodHound, SharpHound.
• Ability to validate functionality and safety of exploits and document results.
• Ability to detect malicious activity via dynamic analysis and report results.
• Independently operate to conduct penetration testing/red teaming to accomplish objectives.
• Knowledge across encryption, evasion, forensics, network security.

Responsibilities

• Review and become proficient in OPTEVFOR cyber T&E SOPs and guidance.
• Develop DCAT authorization documentation per DoDI 8585.01.
• Research requirements for acquisition of cyber capabilities.
• Support development of test plans and execution for penetration testing or red teaming.
• Participate in OPTEVFOR Cyber Test planning and site visits.
• Execute tests including CVPAs, adversarial assessments, and cyber tabletop events.
• Use approved tools to conduct tests and validate findings.
• Document lessons learned and post-test analyses.
