Job summary

Peraton seeks a Cyber Operational Planner to provide policy and strategic planning for USSPACECOM. The role requires interfacing with senior leaders and coordinating with stakeholders to align cyber initiatives with national space and defense priorities.

Responsibilities include advising on integration of cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, and information operations, while fostering international partnerships in the cyber domain for space systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years with BS/BA in relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years with MS/MA in relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years with PhD in relevant field.
• Experience in cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, and/or information warfare.
• Familiar with intelligence-driven cyber-defense planning and Joint Cyberspace Operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy and strategic planning for USSPACECOM and space domains.
• Engage with senior leadership to develop and communicate strategies and priorities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align efforts with mission objectives.
• Provide strategic advice on cyber policy and planning to senior leadership.
• Provide strategic advice on integration of cyberspace operations, EW, IO, and IW.
• Foster international partnerships and alliances in the cyber domain for space systems.

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
