Job summary

Peraton, located in Colorado Springs, seeks a Cyber Operational Planner to provide policy and strategic planning for USSPACECOM. You will engage senior leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to align cyber priorities with mission objectives, shaping access policy and space domain operations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years with a BS/BA (6+ with MS/MA, 3+ with PhD), strong communication skills, and U.S. citizenship with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
• Experience in cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, and/or information warfare.
• Familiar with the cyberspace operations, strategy, and policy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• U.S. Citizenship Required; Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI and other access

Location: Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Tasks include:

• Familiar with intelligence-driven cyber-defense planning and Joint Cyberspace Operations, to include Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO)
• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI and other special classified accesses

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
