Job summary

Willis, within the FINEX practice, seeks a Cyber Broker to act as a trusted advisor to clients and be the primary liaison with insurance markets. You will design, market, and place complex cyber programs and provide strategic risk transfer guidance.

The ideal candidate will apply deep knowledge of cyber insurance products, market dynamics, and evolving threats to secure optimal coverage and support clients’ risk management objectives while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in cyber insurance broking, underwriting, or related financial lines disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience placing cyber insurance programs, negotiating directly with insurers, and participating in new business RFPs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on cyber insurance and related financial lines risks.
• Lead client discussions regarding exposure analysis, market conditions, and renewal strategies.
• Design, market, and place cyber insurance programs across a broad range of industries.
• Negotiate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing with insurance carriers.
• Review policies and provide coverage analyses and recommendations.
• Structure complex and customized insurance solutions to address client needs.
• Maintain understanding of carrier appetites, market trends, and emerging products.
• Support growth through client retention, cross-selling, and new business development.
