Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager of Cyber Incident Response to lead the Incident Response team, guide Event Analysts, and coordinate across business units and partner teams. The role emphasizes proactive governance, playbook development, and strong leadership in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities include managing incident response operations, ensuring adherence to plans, and delivering executive metrics to communicate risk and impact. Fully remote role with global exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• Seven or more years of cybersecurity or investigations experience, including at least four years in Incident Response/SOC.
• Experience leading incident response operations and coordinating across teams.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, response procedures, and enterprise architecture.
• Willingness for nonstandard hours in a 24x7x365 environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Incident Response operations including prioritization and escalation.
• Oversee and implement NBCUniversal Incident Response Plan and procedures.
• Coordinate significant incidents with businesses, owners, and partner teams.
• Lead on-call rotations for incident escalation in a global environment.
• Develop and report monthly metrics on operational effectiveness and risk reduction.
