Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a dynamic individual to join the Information Security Unit, primarily as part of the Cyber Incident Response Team. The role performs incident response and monitoring across judiciary platforms using SIEM and specialized tools.

Occasional special projects support the Engineering team. Hybrid work schedule with up to 3 remote days; requires strong adherence to CIA triad and need-to-know basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field plus 1 year of professional IT experience or equivalent substitutions.
• CompTIA Security+ or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident response and monitoring using SIEM and specialized tools.
• Escalate serious incidents to IR team lead and CISO as needed.
• Monitor Identity Access Management, Mainframe Security, Log Management and Network Security.
• Ensure logging and reporting of potential information security incidents.
• Develop SIEM policies and alerts with senior cybersecurity analyst.
