Job summary

Capital One seeks a Manager, Cyber Fraud Intelligence Associate to lead investigations, develop actionable intelligence, and protect customers and the brand. You will synthesize data from malware, threat intel, and OSINT, and collaborate with engineering, data science and product teams to mitigate exposure.

The role requires strong communication, written proficiency for diverse audiences, and building processes for cyber fraud response within a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills including writing for diverse audiences.
• Experience in cybersecurity areas such as incident response, threat intelligence or forensics.
• Experience guiding security concepts and performing security risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from malware, attack patterns and OSINT to inform detections.
• Create mechanisms to combine signals to highlight threats to at-risk customers.
• Create and communicate actionable referrals of at-risk accounts based on IO indicators and MOAs.
• Monitor data sources and gather intelligence from deep/dark web, covert channels, social media and other OSINT.
• Partner with Engineering, data science and product teams to produce automated fraud solutions.
