Job summary

Capital One seeks an experienced Manager for its Cyber Fraud Intelligence team. As an Individual Contributing Manager, you will protect customers and the brand by shaping cyber fraud response strategies and building actionable intelligence for diverse audiences.

You will lead investigations, develop detections, and partner with product teams to operationalize defenses in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• 4+ years of cybersecurity/IT experience in incident response, threat intelligence, forensics, or offensive security.
• 1+ year directing Security concepts and supervising teams.
• 1+ year performing security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• 1+ year with architecture, software design, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from malware, attack patterns, and OSINT to inform detections.
• Create mechanisms to combine signals and highlight threats for at-risk customers.
• Develop actionable referrals through indicators of compromise and modus operandi research.
• Monitor data sources and OSINT from deep/dark web, covert channels, and social platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, data science, and product teams to automate fraud TTP solutions.
