Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Individual Contributing Manager for its Cyber Fraud Intelligence team. As a Manager level Cyber Fraud Intelligence Associate, you will help protect customers, consumer products and the Capital One brand while leading investigations and shaping fraud response strategies.

You will synthesize data from diverse sources, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and build processes to collect actionable cyber fraud intelligence in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity or IT roles (incident response, threat intel, forensics, or offensive security).
• 1+ year guiding security concepts and oversight.
• 1+ year of security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• 1+ year of architecture, software design, networking and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from malware, threat patterns, and OSINT to inform detections.
• Create mechanisms to combine signals highlighting threats to at‑risk customers.
• Communicate actionable referrals of at‑risk accounts via indicators of compromise and tactics.
• Monitor internal/external sources and OSINT channels to gather intelligence.
• Partner with Eng, data science, and product teams to build automated fraud solutions.
