Job summary

Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a forensics Associate to support the Forensic Services practice. You will perform security investigations, data analysis, and incident response for CRA clients, with emphasis on evidence handling, malware analysis, and reporting.

Applicants should have a degree in CS or related field and 2–4 years of relevant work experience, with certifications valued. Location flexibility includes hybrid work with office presence in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Information Security or Information Systems.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in forensic/financial analysis or consulting preferred.
• Certifications in digital forensics or incident response (SANS GIAC, IACIS, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute security and privacy investigations for clients, including breach detection and malware analysis.
• Provide expert digital forensic support for data security incidents and client counsel.
• Draft forensic reports and testify as an expert in digital forensics and incident response.
