Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating Dec 2026/Summer 2027 in Cybersecurity, CS&E, Digital Forensics, MIS or related field.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, software and hardware.
• Ability to conduct detailed forensic investigations and analyses of computers, networks, mobiles and removable media.
• Experience with commercial and open-source forensic tools; memory and network analysis.
• Experience with static/dynamic malware analyses and threat hunting in live env.
• Knowledge of evidence handling and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Experience drafting technical/investigative reports and communicating findings.
• Familiarity with legal concepts related to IP; automation tools to expedite analyses.
• Understanding incident handling: preparation, identification, containment, eradication, recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with security and privacy investigations in response to data security matters.
• Perform problem solving and forensic analysis of digital information using standard techniques.
• Apply investigative methods to determine hacker activity and data exposure for litigation.
• Defensibly collect digital evidence and maintain chain-of-custody documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new tools for evolving forensic landscape.
• Communicate findings to team and clients; support drafting written reports.
