Job summary

Logically is seeking a Security Implementation Engineer to deploy, configure, and implement cybersecurity solutions across our customer base. You will execute complex security infrastructure projects, including firewalls, endpoints, SIEM, SASE/SSE, and email security, following detailed designs with high quality and documentation.

You will act as an escalation resource for advanced issues, mentor technicians, and collaborate with engineering to improve procedures, all while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or commensurate professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in network and security implementation or engineering roles.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE4 or higher, SNSA, CCNA, Network+, SSCP, Pentest+ are preferred.
• Experience deploying and configuring enterprise firewall platforms.
• Experience with SASE/SSE platforms and cloud-delivered security services.
• Familiarity with email security platforms (Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar).
• Experience with security awareness training platforms (KnowBe4 or similar).
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, security standards, and ruleset management.
• Understanding of network protocols (STP, LAG, LACP, ACL, LLDP, 802.1X, NAC) and L2/L3 switching/routing.
• Experience with Linux command line and basic system administration.
• Familiarity with endpoint security platforms and SIEM/log collection.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies and deployment practices.
• Demonstrated project coordination skills and ability to manage timelines.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team-oriented; business acumen.
• Willingness to work alternate shifts to support implementation schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class customer service to Logically's customer base.
• Adhere to company values while following best practices and procedures.
• Manage open tickets/projects and complete technical tasks to meet deliverables.
• Coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and progress for implementation projects.
• Deploy and configure security infrastructure per design and business needs.
• Implement and configure firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet, others).
• Deploy SASE/SSE solutions including FortiSASE and SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge.
• Configure email security solutions including Proofpoint integration.
• Deploy security awareness training platforms (KnowBe4) and reporting dashboards.
• Roll out endpoint security (SentinelOne, Huntress, NGAV).
• Set up Linux-based log collectors and SIEM integration.
• Configure wireless networks, VPNs, and switching configurations.
• Oversee security policy configurations and network access controls.
• Provide escalation support for complex issues and mentor junior staff.
