Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Manager of Cyber Readiness &Exercises to lead the enterprise-wide cybersecurity exercise and simulation program. You will guide strategy, governance, and maturation while building a capable team across multiple audiences, with responsibility for governance, metrics, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires 8–12 years in cybersecurity and 3+ years of leadership, plus a strong background in designing and evaluating exercises aligned with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in cybersecurity or related fields.
• 3+ years of people leadership.
• Experience designing, facilitating, executing, and evaluating cybersecurity exercises.
• Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and related frameworks.
• Experience in large, regulated organizations.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, maturity, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Cyber Security Exercise & Simulation Program.
• Oversee design, development, execution, and evaluation of cyber exercises across technical, operational, executive, and business audiences.
• Develop and maintain a cyber scenario library reflecting current functions, capabilities, and gaps.
• Establish and maintain program methodologies, templates, playbooks, and documentation for consistency and audit readiness.
• Ensure exercise scenarios address organizational risks, threat intelligence, and evolving adversary tactics.
• Define, track, and report program metrics, maturity, and effectiveness to show improvements in preparedness.
