Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cybersecurity Exercise Planner (Mid) to design and run cyber exercises for federal and private partners. You will develop realistic scenarios, facilitate planning sessions, and produce actionable evaluations to strengthen national cyber readiness.

The role requires 3+ years in exercise planning or cybersecurity operations, familiarity with HSEEP, and strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with HSEEP methodology and planning documents.
• Ability to produce high-quality planning documents and reports.
• Security clearance capability to obtain TS/SCI as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute cyber exercises in line with HSEEP principles.
• Lead or support development of exercise materials and evaluation tools.
• Facilitate planning meetings with government and private-sector partners.
• Draft SitM, ExPlan, and AAR documentation for exercises.
• Analyze exercise outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Research cybersecurity trends to inform scenarios and objectives.
• Provide coordination and operational support throughout planning and execution.
