Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Engineer to join a Wright-Patterson AFB-based team. You will translate customer requirements into cyber and hardware solutions, apply STIGs, run scans, and generate cyber artifacts while supporting Windows and Linux environments.

You will contribute to RMF ATO packages, troubleshoot issues, and maintain networks, servers, and workstations in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline.
• Experience generating cyber security artifacts for stand-alone computers and networks.
• Maintaining and administering networks, systems software, hardware and configurations.
• Experience with cyber tools: SCAP, ACAS, STIG Viewer.
• Problem-solving and IT troubleshooting skills.
• NAS and LAN experience.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, Server 2016–2025 and Linux OS.
• MS Office proficiency including Access.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work under minimal direction.
• IAT II (Security+) certification and a Secret DoD clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative solutions to support hardware development and testbed architecture activities.
• Support multiple Cyber Security and Systems Administration contracts.
• Apply STIGs, perform compliance scanning and remediation.
• Manage Active Directory Group Policy and Linux configuration management.
• Patch Windows and Linux systems and conduct regression testing.
• Work on RMF ATO packages and USAF eMASS.
• Maintain and troubleshoot users, networks, servers and workstations.
