Job summary

Oxley Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst - Tier 2 to monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate rapid responses to protect VA data and systems at the Capital Region Readiness Center in Martinsburg, WV.

The role requires real-time analysis of SIEM/EDR alerts, incident containment, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Third shift availability (10:30 PM–7:00 AM ET) is required; a bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting incident response in an enterprise SOC.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or related field; certifications preferred.
• Proficient with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM ET) in a 24/7 SOC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time security alerts and triage using SIEM/EDR.
• Investigate incidents, determine root cause, and coordinate remediation.
• Document actions and lessons learned; update incident playbooks.
• Collaborate with forensics, threat intel, IT, and network teams.
• Support incident response exercises and training.
