Job summary

Nightwing Technologies, LLC is seeking a Cyber Network Defense Analyst to support a U.S. Government customer. You will analyze network traffic, validate alerts, document incident histories, and perform trend analysis to protect critical assets.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, strong IDS experience, and a BS degree in a related field. Responsibilities include signa­ture deployment, packet-level analysis, and daily briefing of network events.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years of direct cyber defense analysis experience.
• Experience with Snort and other IDS tools.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
• BS degree in CS/Cyber Security/CE or related field.
• Experience developing and deploying signatures.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity and threats.
• Coordinate with cyber defense staff to validate network alerts.
• Document incidents with history, status and potential impact.
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
• Provide daily summaries of network events relevant to cyber defense.
• Use cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis.
