Qualifications

  • 1+ year of data analysis or BI experience in cybersecurity, IT ops, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in building reports/dashboards with data modeling and calculated measures.
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, conditional logic).
  • Experience using AI tools for data remediation tasks with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly data-quality reporting to identify data-integrity issues.
  • Design AI-assisted workflows for large-scale data defect detection and remediation.
  • Maintain version-controlled libraries of prompts, scripts, and workflows for reproducibility.
  • Reconcile BI reports with authoritative vulnerability scan data.
  • Verify vulnerability and asset ownership with operational teams.
  • Develop new reports, metrics, and dashboards based on stakeholder needs.
  • Transition analytics products to operations with documentation and training.
  • Trace data defects to root causes and suggest process improvements.

This enables leadership and stakeholders to understand risk posture accurately and supports informed decision-making.

About the Opportunity:

The CYBER DATA ANALYST is responsible for managing the analytics, reporting, and data quality aspects of a vulnerability management program. This role involves developing trusted metrics and dashboards, utilizing AI-assisted tools to identify and correct data defects, and collaborating with operational teams to improve data processes. The position is impactful in shaping how the security program measures and reports on its performance and risks.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly data-quality reporting to identify and track data-integrity issues.
  • Design and refine AI-assisted workflows for large-scale data defect detection and correction.
  • Maintain version-controlled libraries of prompts, scripts, and workflows for reproducibility.
  • Reconcile business intelligence reports with authoritative vulnerability scan data.
  • Verify and certify vulnerability and asset ownership through coordination with operational teams.
  • Develop new reports, metrics, scoring algorithms, and dashboards based on stakeholder needs.
  • Transition mature analytics products to operational teams with documentation and training.
  • Collaborate with operations to trace data defects to root causes and recommend process improvements.
  • Produce audit-ready documentation for regulatory and stakeholder review.
  • Support additional analytical, reporting, and program improvement initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, security analytics, IT operations reporting, or related fields.
  • Ability to work with large and imperfect data sets, including data joining and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in building reports and dashboards with data modeling and calculated measures.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and conditional logic.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for analytical and data remediation tasks with sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerabilities, patching, CVEs, CVSS scoring, and risk fundamentals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and leadership audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • $55,271 - $62,808 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
