Job summary

Fortress Information Security, LLC is seeking a Cyber Data Analyst to own analytics, reporting, and data integrity in a vulnerability management program. You will transform raw scan and remediation data into metrics for leadership and clients, using AI-assisted tooling with human-reviewed validation.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing large, imperfect data sets and reconciling records across systems.
• Proficiency building reports and dashboards with data modeling and measures.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, conditional logic) for analysis.
• Ability to design and refine prompts to improve AI-assisted data remediation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and risk fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly data-quality reporting for vulnerability, asset, and remediation data.
• Design and refine AI-assisted workflows and batch review routines.
• Maintain prompt/script/workflow libraries for reproducible methods.
• Reconcile BI reporting with enterprise scan data; resolve variances.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve ownership and data source issues.
• Deliver new reporting and ad hoc analysis on request.
• Build new metrics, scoring models, and dashboards from scratch.
• Document data sources, logic, and transition analytics to operations.
• Provide post-transition support and audit-ready documentation.
