Job summary

3M is seeking a Cyber Compliance Oversight Manager to oversee the MSP delivering cybersecurity and technology compliance services across unified controls. You will evaluate MSP outputs, ensure alignment with 3M standards, and guide readiness reviews, monitoring and reporting to sustain a strong cyber compliance posture.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years in cyber compliance operations, with certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CISM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Management (completed and verified prior to start)
• Five (5) years of experience in cyber compliance operations role in a private, public, government or military environment
• Cybersecurity knowledge: deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, regulatory obligations and control frameworks
• Regulatory standards knowledge: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX, PCI, CMMC, TISAX, SWIFT and other obligations
• Compliance and control framework management: governance, change management and monitoring
• Control assessment expertise: overseeing assessments, evaluating design and operating effectiveness
• Continuous improvement: staying current with regulations and industry best practices
• Professional certification: CISSP/CISA/CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Responsibilities

• Oversee MSP delivering day-to-day cybersecurity and technology compliance services
• Review MSP outputs, obligations updates, control framework changes, assessments, monitoring and reports
• Monitor MSP performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring scope, quality and timelines
• Lead service delivery reviews and drive continuous improvement in compliance operations
• Collaborate with MSP to assess regulatory changes and update obligations and controls
• Coordinate risk-based control assessments, validate remediation plans for gaps
• Oversee ongoing compliance monitoring and escalation of issues/trends
• Support readiness assessments by reviewing gap analyses and improvements
• Coordinate with Internal Audit for evidence and responses
• Present monthly compliance metrics and insights via MSP dashboards and reports
