Qualifications

• PhD demonstrates analytical sophistication with 1-3 years’ experience or higher education as alternate
• Experience with Python or R (Python preferred)
• Strong analytical and first-principles thinking for solving ambiguous problems
• Experience breaking down complex data problems
• Experience applying ML, statistics or data mining techniques
• Eagerness to learn new technical subjects, with curiosity about cybersecurity
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Aid in designing and implementing ML and data engineering techniques for cyber security problems
• Improve existing techniques and devise new approaches through collaboration
• Independently propose and develop creative solutions, potentially leading internal research projects
• Articulate strengths/weaknesses of solutions to non-data-science audiences
• Learn security domains to devise data-driven solutions (e.g., software fuzzing, hardware supply chain analysis)
