Job summary

Scale AI in Washington DC is seeking a Cyber focused Strategic Projects Lead to drive high-impact cyber test and evaluation programs for Public Sector customers, building data labeling pipelines and overseeing in-house data workforce.

You will partner with ML experts and Go-to-Market teams, own program COGS, design taxonomies, and ensure scalable, executable engagements, translating cyber domain knowledge into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity domains such as penetration testing, red/blue teaming, vulnerability assessment, network security, or cyber operations.
• 2-3 years of experience in product development, data science, or operations.
• History of successful project management and comfort in ambiguity.
• Ability to analyze complex operational data, build queries, and identify trends to inform decisions and optimize processes.
• Technical aptitude to understand post-training data generation methods such as SFT, RLHF, RLVR.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and maintain operations infrastructure for data labeling pipelines to be efficient, scalable, and high-quality.
• Collaborate with customers to design dataset taxonomies evaluating agents and models or improving performance.
• Own day-to-day progress on high-priority data production pipelines; ensure projects move forward smoothly.
• Work with subject matter experts to translate cyber domain knowledge into scalable processes and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with ML and Go-to-Market teams to scope customer engagements via feasibility validation to ensure scalability.
• Influence cross-organizational collaboration to define and advance human data strategy and data quality.
