Job summary

L.B. Foster is seeking production workers to support multiple areas of manufacturing. You will follow safe work practices, operate basic machine tools, read work instructions, and assist with pre-operation inspections to ensure efficient, on-time production.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a production setting. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.

• Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
• Work with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the production of L.B. Foster products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe. Production Workers are trained to work in all areas of production.

What Do You Need...

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

• Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
