Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a CX Tooling Engineer to design, build, and operate the systems powering our customer experience at scale. You will configure Zendesk and Amazon Connect, build cross-system workflows with Tray.ai, and support AI-enabled chat, voice, and email workflows while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, and external partners to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering, engineering, or operating customer experience, contact-center, workflow, automation, and integration platforms in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and maintain Zendesk architecture and extensibility across forms, fields, triggers, automations, queues, and integrations.
• Build and operate contact-center infra using Zendesk Contact Center and Amazon Connect with queues, routing, phone numbers, and escalation paths.
• Design, build, and maintain cross-system workflows in Tray.ai using APIs and data transformation.
• Support AI-enabled chat, voice, email, and agent-assist workflows with eligibility rules and handoffs.
• Monitor health, investigate defects, and implement durable corrective actions.
• Provide scalable tooling, permissions, routing, and integration patterns for global launches.
