Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a CX Tooling Engineer to design, build, and operate the systems powering customer experience at scale, including Zendesk, Amazon Connect, and Tray.ai integration.

You will partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Compliance to deliver scalable, compliant solutions in a regulated environment, with a focus on reliability and minimal manual effort in a remote, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering, engineering, or operating customer experience platforms in production.
• Hands-on experience with Zendesk configuration and architecture.
• Experience with enterprise contact-center platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Zendesk Contact Center, Talkdesk).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and maintain Zendesk architecture and extensibility.
• Build and operate contact-center infrastructure using Zendesk and Amazon Connect.
• Design, build, and maintain cross-system workflows in Tray.ai using APIs and webhooks.
• Support AI-enabled chat, voice, email, and agent-assisted workflows.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners on requirements, testing, and delivery quality.
• Deliver production changes with testing, monitoring, rollback, and runbooks.
