Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. seeks a Senior Platform Architect to design scalable contact center solutions across Zendesk, Amazon Connect, and AWS, delivering seamless integration and optimized customer interactions.

You will define long‑term technology strategies, lead architectural decisions, and mentor pre‑sales specialists while applying AI, ML, and automation to CCaaS. Strong emphasis on security, governance, and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/IT/Business or equivalent.
10+ years in sales engineering with 5+ years in contact center tech.
Proven experience designing CCaaS using Zendesk, Amazon Connect and AWS.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Architect scalable contact center solutions using Zendesk, Amazon Connect, and AWS.
Define and drive the technical strategy and modernization roadmap.
Provide mentorship to presales specialists on solution design.
Lead integrations between Zendesk, AWS services, and enterprise systems.
Develop technical docs, whitepapers, and architecture diagrams.
Support pre-sales activities with PoCs and demonstrations.
