Precision Collective is seeking an experienced Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Operational Requirements Planner to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research and Development (RD) Directorate at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role provides vital advisory, technical, and planning support to help bridge the gap between the warfighter’s operational needs and the innovative R&D capabilities developed within DTRA RD.
The primary focus of this position is to assist in translating urgent, real-world warfighter capability gaps into actionable technical-development roadmaps. The successful candidate will support the development, drafting, and coordination of Joint Urgent and Emergent Operational Needs (JUON/JEON) roadmaps for Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), provide planning support to help shape joint-service and agency-level approaches to Hardened and Deeply Buried Target (HDBT) defeat capabilities, and dedicate a small percentage of time (10–15%) to supporting the RD Chemical/Biological (Chem/Bio) Directorate.
This is an operational planning, coordination, and staff-support role designed for a mid-to-senior-level staff expert. The ideal candidate does not need to be a laboratory researcher or engineer; they must be a highly capable facilitator who knows how to navigate the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Service Components, and OSD to successfully coordinate requirements and transition technologies through the Department of War enterprise.
