Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join the quality team at a steel fabrication company in Keene, NH. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring high standards throughout fabrication and working closely with production teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of welding experience, strong reading of drawings, and a solid understanding of tolerances and QC documentation. NDT experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.
• 5+ years of welding experience.
• Structural steel or heavy fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances and fabrication processes.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections.

About the Opportunity

We're recruiting for an established steel fabrication company looking to add an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to its quality team.

This is a hands-on position suited to a CWI with a strong welding background who enjoys working closely with production teams and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the fabrication process.
