American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to perform on-site observations on construction projects and support construction materials testing with rigorous QA/QC practices. You will prepare inspection reports and coordinate with project managers to plan testing activities.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and client interaction, with opportunities for training, certification maintenance, and involvement in QA procedures and field/lab testing across projects.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Physical Science with 6 months+ experience OR 2 years of Tech School +1 year OR HS diploma +2 years experience

Responsabilités

• Perform CWI observations on active construction sites and document results
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining QA procedures
• Maintain current procedures and equipment calibrations
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule laboratory and field testing activities and prepare proposals
• Assist in the promotion and marketing of AET
• Train to obtain and maintain certifications and stay current with technologies used by AET
