Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist to join our cardiovascular surgery team. You will support life-saving procedures alongside a dedicated team of surgeons and clinicians, contributing to the highest standards of patient care.

You will prepare ORs, maintain sterile fields, and assist with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic cases, ensuring accurate instrumentation handling and collaboration with the team for safe,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current CST credential through NBSTSA.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout all cases.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures.
• Prepare and manage specialized cardiovascular instrumentation and equipment.
• Assist with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of grafts, implants, and specialty surgical supplies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
• Follow infection prevention, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
