Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the cardiovascular surgery team. Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current CST credential through NBSTSA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous OR experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• CVOR or cardiovascular surgery experience.
• Experience with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
• Experience in a high-acuity hospital environment.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout cases.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures.
• Prepare and manage specialized cardiovascular instrumentation and equipment.
• Assist with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
• Ensure proper handling of grafts, implants, and specialty supplies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide safe patient care.
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
