Job summary

Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RN license or eligibility
- RN degree requirement: ADN, BSN or diploma
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients pre-operation
- Educate patients and families about procedures
- Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds
- Perform surgical site verification and time-out procedures
- Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Document patient condition and care provided
- Educate patients and families about medical condition and follow-up care
