Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures. You will prepare, maintain, and manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring sterile technique and contributing to an efficient OR workflow.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program completion and at least 1 year CVOR experience; BCLS certification is expected. This is a full-time on-site position with on-call duties and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Surgical Technology program (technical or military).
• One year experience; CVOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care, safety, and advocacy through critical thinking and anticipation of case-specific needs.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support efficient surgical workflow.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrate accountability for performance, professional development, and continuous learning.
• Participate in inventory management and cost containment related to supplies and instrumentation.
