Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CVOR in Fort Myers, Florida. The role focuses on delivering safe, evidence-based cardiovascular operating room nursing care, documentation, and patient education within a high-acuity surgical team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Florida (or compact) with BLS and ACLS as required by department addendums. Two years of Open Heart Surgery circulating experience is preferred, with competency assessment and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Associates or Bachelors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care per ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure quality patient outcomes and safe care delivery.
