Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.
• Illinois RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care using the nursing process to meet patient needs.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient/family and health care team.
• Assess patient status through interview, observation and physical assessment.
• Use interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Document patient progress and outcomes throughout the shift.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with team members.
• Promote patient safety and quality of care through evidence-based practice and appropriate use of equipment.
