Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This CVOR RN position requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS as needed.

The assignment spans 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, working 10-hour day shifts as a travel role. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, credentialing support, and family health coverage through MedPro’s national network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in CVOR before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
